From the project

Baseboard for Raspberry Pi 4 Compute Module optimized for clustering

This project contains the PCB design files for a baseboard supporting System on Modules with pinout compatible with Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4). The baseboard has been optimized for 19-inch rack mount installations for distributed multi-node computing systems.

The main directory contains KiCad PCB project files, a LICENSE, and a README. The remaining files are stored in the following directories:

Scalenode cm4-baseboard: common questions

What microcontroller does the Scalenode cm4-baseboard use?

The Scalenode cm4-baseboard is built around the BSS138-7-F, from the Raspberry Pi family.

How big is the Scalenode cm4-baseboard PCB?

The Scalenode cm4-baseboard measures 128.5 × 40 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.586 mm thick.

How many components are on the Scalenode cm4-baseboard?

125 components, from 58 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Scalenode cm4-baseboard design files?

From the antmicro/scalenode-cm4-baseboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Scalenode cm4-baseboard design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which antmicro chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Scalenode cm4-baseboard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
