From the project
Schematic, PCB files, firmware and 3d models for creating the IoT12 solder iron temperature controller for T12 compatible tips.
Use the interactive BOM to identify values and positions of the components.
Solder all small 0805 SMD resistors and capacitors. Read special instructions for R60, R61 and R62, R63 in the schematic.
Measure all resistors and check if they are all the correct resistance.
Inspect PCB with microscope for shorted pins (in ICs). Correct when found.
Apply current limited 5V to GND and +5V on J4. Almost no current should flow.

IoT12 Control Board: common questions
What microcontroller does the IoT12 Control Board use?
The IoT12 Control Board is built around the 2x Conn_01x19_Female, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the IoT12 Control Board?
The IoT12 Control Board measures 99.1 × 69.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the IoT12 Control Board?
66 components, from 34 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the IoT12 Control Board design files?
From the atoomnetmarc/IoT12 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the IoT12 Control Board design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which atoomnetmarc chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the IoT12 Control Board without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
