About the IoT Power Supply PCB
IoT Power Supply is an open source PCB design by atoomnetmarc, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 91.4 × 91.4 mm, with 29 components from 21 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the LM2596S-ADJ. By type, the board carries 9 resistors, 5 diodes, 4 capacitors, 3 connectors, 2 fuses and 1 IC.
It belongs with the iot & wireless, power & battery and sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
Schematic, PCB files, firmware and 3d models for creating the IoT12 solder iron temperature controller for T12 compatible tips.
This Power Supply PCB powers the IoT12 Control Board. It features a relay that can be activated by the Control Board to provide 24V power to the soldering iron. However, the relay can only be activated when the user switch on J2 is closed. This enables the user to power down the heating of the soldering iron independent of what the Control Board is able to, which is a nice feature of an internet connected soldering station.
