From the project

A modular 3D Printer Controller based on the STM32Duino project

This controller is using extra modules for the Heated Bed, Heaters, Extra Extruder Steppers aswell as extra PWM Output for fans and LED's. If you feel to upgrade your printer, just get the module for it. If you manage to damage the MosFET, just swap it out! This brings a low cost base platform, which you can upgrade freely.

- 72Mhz Cortex M3 (STM32F103V) - 128kb Flash - 3 Axis Stepper + 3 Extruder Stepper (1 on the Mainboard) - 6 Endstop Inputs - 1 Heated Bed + 1 Thermistor - 2 Heaters + 2 Thermistors - High Efficiency 3.3V Buck Converter - 12V Protected by a proper Car Fuse holder (Heatbed…

ReST32 Main: common questions

What microcontroller does the ReST32 Main use?

The ReST32 Main is built around the STM32F10x/STM32F4x, from the STM32 family.

How big is the ReST32 Main PCB?

The ReST32 Main measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the ReST32 Main?

168 components, from 57 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the ReST32 Main design files?

From the berryelectronics/ReST32 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the ReST32 Main design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with berryelectronics. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the ReST32 Main without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
