Its main chip is the Seeduino_XIAO, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the MCP2515-IST, ADuM1201AR, MCP2562-E-SN, TS5204CX50 and USBLC6-2SC6. By type, the board carries 12 capacitors, 9 resistors, 7 ICs, 6 connectors, 1 crystal and 1 jumper.

From the project

OpenKNX Application to connect KNX Bus to Hoval TopTronic Bus

A KNX gateway for Hoval TopTronic systems, enabling integration between KNX home automation networks and Hoval CAN-based controllers.

It is a PlatformIO project and needs a working ETS 5.7 (or higher) installed on the same PC (at least for generating the required ETS files).

It uses some Modules from the OpenKNX project: OGM-Common, OFM-cnofigTransfer, OFM-FileTransferModule, OFM-LogicModule

OAM-KNX2HovalGateway: common questions

What microcontroller does the OAM-KNX2HovalGateway use?

The OAM-KNX2HovalGateway is built around the Seeduino_XIAO, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the OAM-KNX2HovalGateway PCB?

The OAM-KNX2HovalGateway measures 80 × 60 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the OAM-KNX2HovalGateway?

41 components, from 28 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the OAM-KNX2HovalGateway design files?

From the Blizzard26/OAM-KNX2HovalGateway repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the OAM-KNX2HovalGateway design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Blizzard26. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the OAM-KNX2HovalGateway without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
