Plans for my modular synthesizer, named Cynthia.
I have split the modules into folders with numbered names. These numbers only correspond to the order that I included them into this project. Every project should at least contain: - a README.md with more information about the module - schematics for the schematics, made in KiCAD - stripboard for the design of the stripboard (you don't need this if you order proper PCBs). I use DIY Layout Creator for this. - panel for the Kosmo-format (20cm height) panels. I use a custom template for OpenSCAD which can be found in lib/kosmo.scad. On linux, you…

10 modular midi 2 cv: common questions
What microcontroller does the 10 modular midi 2 cv use?
The 10 modular midi 2 cv is built around the WEMOS_D1_mini, from the ESP8266 family.
How big is the 10 modular midi 2 cv PCB?
The 10 modular midi 2 cv measures 24 × 134.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the 10 modular midi 2 cv?
29 components, from 18 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the 10 modular midi 2 cv design files?
From the bmurauer/cynthia repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the 10 modular midi 2 cv design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with bmurauer. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the 10 modular midi 2 cv without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP8266 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
