About the Das4-controller PCB
Das4-controller is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by brandonrc, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 51.2 × 94 mm, with 58 components from 21 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2350B, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the CH334R, W25Q128JVS and ME6211C33M5G-N. By type, the board carries 37 capacitors, 10 resistors, 4 ICs, 2 crystals, 2 switches and 1 transistor.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
Open-source RP2350B replacement controller board for the Das Keyboard 4 Professional (KiCad 10)
An open-source replacement controller board for the Das Keyboard 4 Professional: same outline, same holes, same connectors, but with an RP2350B you can flash with your own firmware (pico-sdk today, KMK/CircuitPython, QMK once it supports the RP2350B). It keeps the two USB-A ports (as a USB 2.0 hub), the volume knob, the NUM/CAPS/SCROLL LEDs (now RGB, any colour) and the five buttons. Every button gets its own GPIO, so you can make them do whatever you like.

Das4-controller: common questions
What microcontroller does the Das4-controller use?
The Das4-controller is built around the RP2350B, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Das4-controller PCB?
The Das4-controller measures 51.2 × 94 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Das4-controller?
58 components, from 21 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Das4-controller design files?
From the brandonrc/das4-controller repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Das4-controller design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which brandonrc chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Das4-controller without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
