About the Scripted Sensor Node PCB
Scripted Sensor Node is an open source PCB design by chainstart, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 60 × 38 mm, with 18 components from 9 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the MCU_QFN16, I2C_SENSOR and 3V3_REG. By type, the board carries 8 test points, 3 ICs, 1 connector, 1 diode, 1 capacitor and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

This directory is an archived MakerAI EDA prototype. It explored:
- optional natural-language to hardwaredsl.json conversion; - deterministic .kicadsch and .kicadpcb` generation; - KiCad ERC/DRC and fabrication exports; - DSN/SES exchange with FreeRouting; and - a separate structured-SVG review drawing.
It is retained for historical reproduction only. Its generated rectangular symbols, passive pin modeling, global-label-per-pin schematic connectivity, and project-specific normalization rules are superseded by the typed specification, evidence, versioned block templates, real KiCad…

Scripted Sensor Node: common questions
How big is the Scripted Sensor Node PCB?
The Scripted Sensor Node measures 60 × 38 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Scripted Sensor Node?
18 components, from 9 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Scripted Sensor Node design files?
From the chainstart/makerai-lab repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Scripted Sensor Node design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with chainstart. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
