From the project

KiCad breakout board for the bosch BME280 sensor. I2C interface with onboard pullups and decoupling- ready to plug any microcontroller project

A minimal, ready-to-use I2C breakout board for the Bosch BME280 temperature/humidity/pressure sensor. Designed in KiCad — exposes a clean 4-pin interface (VCC, GND, SDA, SCL) for easy connection to any microcontroller.

See schematic.pdf for the full schematic.

- I2C pull-ups (4.7kΩ on SDA/SCL): Required since I2C is an open-drain bus — without pull-ups, the lines can't idle high, and no communication is possible. - Decoupling (100nF ceramic on VDD): Placed directly next to the sensor's VDD pin for a clean, local power supply during measurement cycles. - CSB tied to 3.3V: Forces the sensor…
