About the SHEGO16-QMK-Hall-Effect-Macropad PCB

SHEGO16-QMK-Hall-Effect-Macropad is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Charading, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 121.9 × 81 mm, with 120 components from 38 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the AP2112K-3.3TRG1, USBLC6-2SC6, W25Q128JVS and SN74LV1T125DBV. By type, the board carries 25 LEDs, 20 capacitors, 11 resistors, 5 ICs, 4 connectors and 2 modules.

It belongs with the keyboards and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

An RP2040-powered 4x4 15 key macropad with a knob on the top row, that runs custom QMK firmware that allows analogue hall effect sensors to work, also has SOCD, works with VIA and SignalRGB

I cant find a Hall effect keyboard that i genuinely like that has all the features that i want so i thought to make one myself. Technically i am still in prototype phase for the 'endgame' board i yearn to have, this was a originally a little test board that I was making so I could figure out how to do firmware. I've been working months on end on this project with many pcbs and components surrounding me. The end goal is a 75% keyboard, knob, a tft screen that can play gifs, north facing RGB (my goodness i hate south facing), and magnetic switches with socd. Sadly I think it would be too…
