From the project

Open-Source RP2040 Microcontroller Development Board

Mitayi-Pico-D1 is the first development board from CIRCUITSTATE Electronics. The board is based on the RP2040 microcontroller from Raspberry Pi and is designed after the official Raspberry Pi Pico board, but adds a few improvements over it. D1 is the first design variant of Mitayi-Pico. Mitayi-Pico is not pin-compatible with the official Raspberry Pi Pico. The schematic and PCB are designed with KiCad, an open-source EDA tool. All the design files of Mitayi-Pico are completely open-source and released under the MIT license.

Mitayi-Pico-D1: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mitayi-Pico-D1 use?

The Mitayi-Pico-D1 is built around the RP2040-B2, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Mitayi-Pico-D1 PCB?

The Mitayi-Pico-D1 measures 51 × 21 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mitayi-Pico-D1?

51 components, from 31 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mitayi-Pico-D1 design files?

From the CIRCUITSTATE/Mitayi-Pico-D1 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mitayi-Pico-D1 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which CIRCUITSTATE chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Mitayi-Pico-D1 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
