About the Esp32 button PCB

Esp32 button is an open source PCB design by ep-infosec, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 44 × 44 mm, with 56 components from 33 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the HT7333A, CH340C, 5050_Serial_RGB and TP5410. By type, the board carries 13 capacitors, 13 resistors, 6 transistors, 6 diodes, 5 test points and 4 ICs.

From the project

This is a single-button (with some IOs broken out) that can use deep sleep or fully turn off in between uses.

This is a single-button (with some IOs broken out) that can use deep sleep or fully turn off in between uses.

Results in a pretty small overall package that's not quite pocket-sized.

The build by hand will probably require a microscope (for Q301, part of the auto-reset circuit) and a very good soldering iron (exposed pads, although there vias so you can head from the other side).
