About the Procon gcc main PCB

Procon gcc main is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by ESCA47, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 110.9 × 59.5 mm, with 69 components from 36 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the 2x DRV5053CAQLPGM Hall Effect Sensors, Stickbox_Assembly, MCP3002, DRV5055A3QDBZR and W25Q128JVS. By type, the board carries 19 capacitors, 19 resistors, 11 ICs, 7 diodes, 6 connectors and 3 transistors.

From the project

Order at your own risk, even i fuck up too often. Maybe poke at me for help but for the most part you are on your own if you do decide to order these. This projecet was created to do the stupid thing I wanted and I got mine.

Goals of the project is to give as one to one a switch pro feel for ultimate on a gcc/phob interface. Anything past that is a nice bonus(melee or people calibrating to their own prefrences).

Procon gcc main: common questions

What microcontroller does the Procon gcc main use?

The Procon gcc main is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Procon gcc main PCB?

The Procon gcc main measures 110.9 × 59.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Procon gcc main?

69 components, from 36 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Procon gcc main design files?

From the ESCA47/thingamaPRO repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Procon gcc main design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license, which ESCA47 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Procon gcc main without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
