About the Cereyan PCB

Cereyan is an open source ESP32 PCB design by fahreddinaykut, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 25 mm, with 64 components from 33 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-C3-MINI-1, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the MT3608, AP2112K-3.3, IP2312U_VSET and XB7608AJ. By type, the board carries 29 resistors, 14 capacitors, 6 diodes, 5 ICs, 4 switches and 3 connectors.

It belongs with the power & battery, iot & wireless and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

Battery-powered ESP32-C3 smart ventilation fan with magnetic mounting, ESP-NOW synchronization, USB-C charging and programmable mobile control.

Cereyan is a battery-powered smart ventilation fan platform designed for camping and tent airflow control.

The device is intended to attach magnetically to tent windows or fabric-supported openings and provide programmable ventilation through a compact embedded system. Multiple Cereyan units are planned to synchronize over ESP-NOW, allowing coordinated airflow control without requiring Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Cereyan: common questions

What microcontroller does the Cereyan use?

The Cereyan is built around the ESP32-C3-MINI-1, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Cereyan PCB?

The Cereyan measures 100 × 25 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Cereyan?

64 components, from 33 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Cereyan design files?

From the fahreddinaykut/Cereyan repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Cereyan design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with fahreddinaykut. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Cereyan without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
