About the Nodi PCB

Nodi is an open source RISC-V PCB design by feboyfierlyan, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 42 × 58 mm, with 43 components from 28 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the CH32V003F4P6, from the RISC-V family. Other key parts include the MCP73831T-2ACI/OT, MCP1700T-3002E/TT and AT42QT1010-TSHR. By type, the board carries 15 capacitors, 13 resistors, 4 ICs, 4 connectors, 3 switches and 3 diodes.

It belongs with the displays & leds and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Nodi — a custom PCB digital companion charm. KiCad hardware, RISC-V firmware, a shared C/WASM core, and an interactive 3D simulator.

Status: engineering draft untuk satu charm tas pribadi. Belum rilis fabrikasi dan belum diuji fisik. Dibuat 20 September 2026. Semua ukuran dalam mm.

OLED diganti dari 0,96 inci ke part nyata ER-OLED013A1-1W (1,3 inci, SSD1306, FPC konektor 30 pin 0,5 mm). Panel 34,50 × 23,00 × 1,45 mm, area aktif 29,42 × 14,70 mm, 128 × 64 piksel. Area aktif naik 83,1% dibanding 21,744 × 10,864 mm pada preview Rev.A; lebar/tinggi gambar naik sekitar 35%, bukan resolusinya. Harga panel final belum diverifikasi ulang untuk publikasi repo. Nodi: common questions

What microcontroller does the Nodi use?

The Nodi is built around the CH32V003F4P6, from the RISC-V family.

How big is the Nodi PCB?

The Nodi measures 42 × 58 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.2 mm thick.

How many components are on the Nodi?

43 components, from 28 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Nodi design files?

From the feboyfierlyan/nodi repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Nodi design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the Nodi without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RISC-V firmware against it before you order a PCB.
