Genesis Board design
- Removed Stemma QT connectors. Left second LDO (AP2112-3.3). It looks to only be powering the neopixel on GPIO0. Need to figure out if I can just use the main one. - Removed voltage divider used for LiPo monitoring. Provided A13_I35 that went to I35 on the ESP. - Removed LiPo charging circuit. VBUS is now only supplied by USB-C connector. Removed DMG3415U transistor in upper left of Page 2. Removed JST battery connector. - Removed extra reset switches. - Add initial annotation. - Rename +3V3 net on RTC page to match 3.3V global net name. - Rename MISO nets on Ethernet page so global MISO net…

Genesis Board: common questions
What microcontroller does the Genesis Board use?
The Genesis Board is built around the DUAL NPN, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Genesis Board?
The Genesis Board measures 165.8 × 119.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Genesis Board?
89 components, from 43 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Genesis Board design files?
From the iffycodes/Genesis repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Genesis Board design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with iffycodes. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Genesis Board without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
