Various printed circuit board projects

This repository contains various printed circuit board projects. Also includes any custom firmware where applicable.

This is a git submodule pointing to https://github.com/jrseti/parts.

The contains pcb related symbols, footprints and 3d files for KiCad PCB projects. All KiCAD projects in this repository will use parts that are in these libraries.

During development if a part is not in this library, add it. See directions in the parts/READM.md file.

Mcu test board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mcu test board use?

The Mcu test board is built around the STM32G431KBT6TR, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Mcu test board?

The Mcu test board measures 59.9 × 57.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mcu test board?

57 components, from 26 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mcu test board design files?

From the jrseti/pcbs repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mcu test board design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which jrseti chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Mcu test board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
