Its main chip is the RP2350B_C42415655, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the ME6217C33M5G, W25Q128JVSIQTR, RPI Radio Module 2 and ESP-PSRAM32. By type, the board carries 27 capacitors, 16 resistors, 5 ICs, 3 diodes, 2 connectors and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

An RP2350B dev board that breaks out all 48 GPIO pins while following the original Raspberry Pi Pico footprint for the first 20 pins on each side. It adds another 12 pins on each side — keeping the same 0.1" pitch and castellated edges so it remains breadboard-friendly.

The board supports PSRam (GP0 chip select) and the Radio Module 2 for WiFi/BT

Pico stretch2: common questions

What microcontroller does the Pico stretch2 use?

The Pico stretch2 is built around the RP2350B_C42415655, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Pico stretch2 PCB?

The Pico stretch2 measures 82.1 × 21 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Pico stretch2?

59 components, from 30 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Pico stretch2 design files?

From the jvanderberg/pico-stretch2 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Pico stretch2 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with jvanderberg. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Pico stretch2 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
