About the Trans PCB

Trans is an open source ESP32 PCB design by Karasik777, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 30 × 60 mm, with 25 components from 19 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-C3-WROOM-02, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the AP2112K-3.3 and USBLC6-2SC6. By type, the board carries 7 capacitors, 6 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 diodes and 2 switches.

It belongs with the iot & wireless, dev boards & breakouts and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

Trans: common questions

What microcontroller does the Trans use?

The Trans is built around the ESP32-C3-WROOM-02, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Trans PCB?

The Trans measures 30 × 60 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Trans?

25 components, from 19 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Trans design files?

From the Karasik777/TransPCB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Trans design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Karasik777 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Trans without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
