About the ACNode-Shield

ACNode-Shield is an open source PCB design by londonhackspace, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 50 mm, with 15 components from 15 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the SRD-05VDC-SL-C and WS2812B. By type, the board carries 7 connectors, 2 ICs, 2 switches, 1 transistor, 1 diode and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

ACnode using a Connected Launchpad

Over the years the design of the ACnodes and doorbots have been gradually improved.

As of 2021-10-28, all acnodes and doorbots in London Hackspace have been using the 'New-ACNode-Doorbot-Shield' designs. This is a single PCB designed to fit underneath a TI Tiva C XL Connected Launchpad microcrontroller board EK-TM4C1294XL EVAL BRD, TIVA C CONNECTED LAUNCHPAD. The Launchpad boards are normally available from Farnell and RS.
