About the Esp32solder PCB

Esp32solder is an open source ESP32 PCB design by MadsRudolph, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 54 × 45.8 mm, with 17 components from 15 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the TL074, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the LM7812. By type, the board carries 6 resistors, 4 capacitors, 2 ICs, 2 switches, 2 diodes and 1 connector.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

- Single-sided, 54 x 46 mm, copper on the bottom (B.Cu). The ESP32 sits on the copper side and the through-hole parts go on top. - Rule: 0.3 mm clearance / 0.5 mm track, inside what the test coupon proved (0.15 / 0.15 clean). - Gates: - Schematic: schscore` PASS, ERC 0 violations, netlist verified. -…

Esp32solder: common questions

What microcontroller does the Esp32solder use?

The Esp32solder is built around the TL074, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Esp32solder PCB?

The Esp32solder measures 54 × 45.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Esp32solder?

17 components, from 15 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Esp32solder design files?

From the MadsRudolph/personal-projects repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Esp32solder design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MadsRudolph. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Esp32solder without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
