SnapCore-Devboard-Rev1 is an open source Nordic nRF PCB design by Magnetile, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 26.9 × 47.6 mm, with 51 components from 40 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the NRF52840-QIXX, from the Nordic nRF family. Other key parts include the XC6220B331MR and TP4057. By type, the board carries 20 capacitors, 13 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 diodes, 2 crystals and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the iot & wireless, power & battery and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A open source modular wireless input device. Based on nRF52840

Open source modular wireless macropad system

Magnetile is a modular wireless input device. A central hub connects to interchangeable input tiles - mechanical keys, rotary encoders, sliders, display keys - via magnetic pogo pin connectors. The hub presents as a single BLE HID device to the host. Everything is open source.

Tiles are hot-swappable modules. Each tile has its own small MCU communicating over I²C. The hub aggregates all input and handles the BLE stack. A single LiPo cell in the hub powers the entire system through the pogo pins.
