About the NRFControlPanel PCB
NRFControlPanel is an open source PCB design by michaelshiloh, published on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 147.3 × 111.8 mm, with 11 components from 9 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the RC1602A and NRF24L01_Breakout. By type, the board carries 4 connectors, 3 switches, 2 ICs and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
A control panel using an nRF24L01 radio. Designed for the class Performing Robots but could be used in many wireless remote control applications

The board is intentionally larger than necessary to make it somewhat ergonomic, and to provide a place for a battery pack. If you use a portable charger (as I do) you may need to get one specifically designed for very low power drain, otherwise they shut off when too little current is being drawn. A key phrase is "Trickle Charging Mode" e.g. this. Holes are provided for zip ties to hold the battery pack
