About the C mount PCB

C mount is an open source PCB design by miniscope, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 370 × 146.7 mm, with 6 components from 1 distinct parts.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

Miniscope Zero hardware and software

Repository for Miniscope Zero: a fully wireless, single-cell-resolution miniature microscope for imaging neural dynamics in freely behaving animals.

Miniscope Zero is a miniature one-photon microscope that operates without tethers: power is delivered via quasistatic cavity resonance (QSCR) wireless power transfer, and imaging data is streamed over a high-bandwidth optical link. This repository hosts the project-specific hardware designs — the miniscope, the optical data acquisition hardware, and the QSCR arena — and points to the related software and hardware repositories.

C mount: common questions

How big is the C mount PCB?

The C mount measures 370 × 146.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the C mount?

6 components, from 1 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the C mount design files?

From the miniscope/MiniscopeZero repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the C mount design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license, which miniscope chose for the repository.
