About the GX894-PWB PCB

GX894-PWB is an open source PCB design by NaokiS28, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 231 × 155 mm, with 120 components from 19 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ZBF253D, PC847, HYC2485S and DS2401P. By type, the board carries 58 ICs, 45 capacitors, 5 resistors and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Schematics and pinout information for the Konami System 573

This is the IO board that is mostly used with Bemani rhythm games. It uses a SPARTAN FPGA, Xilinx XC9536 CPLD and MAS3507D MP3 audio decoder IC withh a bunch of RAM, opto-isolators and trasceivers thrown in for good measure. The board is practically useless without an FPGA binary blob uploaded to it as nothing is accessible otherwise. This is uploaded by the game at the game's boot (and will show "Digital I/O init failure" if it can't.).
