About the Multiprobe PCB
Multiprobe is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by picolemon, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 50 × 50 mm, with 89 components from 39 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2350A_C42411118, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the RCLAMP0521P.TCT_C3029033, ME6217C33M5G, W25Q32JVUUIQ and ABM8-272-T3_C20625731. By type, the board carries 36 resistors, 22 capacitors, 11 connectors, 9 LEDs, 6 ICs and 2 switches.
From the project
A debug probe for the RP2050 & RP2035 devices that can debug up to 4 devices at the same time with two active UARTs.
Debug project 1 with UART on COM port ACM0:
Debug project 2 with UART on COM port ACM1:
The UARTs must be assigned to a com port using the table below:
Hint: The vendor code is formatted so the first digit (8 for ACM0 or 9 for ACM1) corresponds to the COM port and the last digit (1,2,3 & 4) is the UART number printed on the board silkscreen.
For example if you plug a device into UART4 and want to communicated on ACM1 you would enter "cmsis-dap cmd 0x94". Some limitation apply due to the pico hardware UART can only be assigned to certain pins, for example UART1 and UART3 can't be used at…

Multiprobe: common questions
What microcontroller does the Multiprobe use?
The Multiprobe is built around the RP2350A_C42411118, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Multiprobe PCB?
The Multiprobe measures 50 × 50 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Multiprobe?
89 components, from 39 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Multiprobe design files?
From the picolemon/multiprobe repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Multiprobe design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which picolemon chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Multiprobe without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
