About the Multi-NFC PCB
Multi-NFC is an open source Nordic nRF PCB design by PrinceYadav78, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 58 × 95 mm, with 43 components from 23 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the nRF52840-QFAA-F-R7, from the Nordic nRF family. Other key parts include the MCP73831T-2ATI/OT, TPS78833DBVR and W25Q16JVUXIQ TR. By type, the board carries 23 capacitors, 8 resistors, 4 ICs, 4 connectors, 2 crystals and 1 switch.
It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.
From the project
Multi-NFC
this is a small custom pcb device i build which have a nfc antenna, e-ink display, flash storage and a microcontroller all together on one board. the idea is that the device can talk with phone using nfc and also show some info on the e-ink screen. the screen is very low power so it can keep the image even when power is not used.
the board also have a small battery and charging circuit so it can run portable. the main chip used here is the nrf52840 which handle the nfc and other logic of the board. there is also external flash memory to store some data and firmware stuff.

Multi-NFC: common questions
What microcontroller does the Multi-NFC use?
The Multi-NFC is built around the nRF52840-QFAA-F-R7, from the Nordic nRF family.
How big is the Multi-NFC PCB?
The Multi-NFC measures 58 × 95 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Multi-NFC?
43 components, from 23 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Multi-NFC design files?
From the PrinceYadav78/Multi-NFC repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Multi-NFC design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which PrinceYadav78 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Multi-NFC without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Nordic nRF firmware against it before you order a PCB.
