About the SNAB PCB
SNAB is an open source ESP32 PCB design by ras-rap, published on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 66.5 × 71.5 mm, with 21 components from 16 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-S3-DEVKITC-1-N8R2, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the AP2112K-3.3TRG1, TPS22918TDBVRQ1 and INA219AXD. By type, the board carries 6 connectors, 4 ICs, 4 capacitors, 3 switches, 3 resistors and 1 transistor.
It belongs with the iot & wireless and power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
Switch N A Bottle (SNAB) is a hardware project to take full control of your switch in one portable and easy to use device
SNAB is a protable device that allows you to take full control of your switch.
- RCM payload injection - Bluetooth gamepad dongle - Charge monitoring - Maybe more
My switch dies quite often when I travel, and I dont always have some kind of computer avalible, and I use an iPhone so I cant use my phone. Also I wanted to learn how the Fusee Gelee exploit works and how to design hardware projects.

SNAB: common questions
What microcontroller does the SNAB use?
The SNAB is built around the ESP32-S3-DEVKITC-1-N8R2, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the SNAB PCB?
The SNAB measures 66.5 × 71.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the SNAB?
21 components, from 16 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the SNAB design files?
From the ras-rap/SNAB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the SNAB design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its AGPL-3.0 license, which ras-rap chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the SNAB without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
