Make your own base station to communicate with satellites!
If you want make your life a little simpler, we have a custom PCB for you! The Antenny board was designed and assembled by Red Balloon Security and you the ability to plug and play the NyanSat basic station with one single board and no complex wiring. Antenny combines the EPS32 (with Bluetooth and WIFI support), a 16 channel PWM driver, and a motor driver with a maximum output of maximum 27W at 6V. The RBS Antenny board can easily handle the movement control of NyanSat antenna gimbal, and you can load your own custom code to adjust it however you like. The onboard reserved I2C channel…

Antenny: common questions
What microcontroller does the Antenny use?
The Antenny is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32D, from the ESP32 family.
How many components are on the Antenny?
87 components, from 45 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Antenny design files?
From the RedBalloonShenanigans/antenny repository on GitHub, which has the schematic, a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Antenny design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with RedBalloonShenanigans. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Antenny without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
