From the project

An all in one RV/Campervan automation board.

All feature requests are tracked in the GitHub issue tracker. Feature Requests

This AIO board is planned to be able to work standalone or as part of a connected smart home network within a camper or RV. It will be designed based on suggestions from the community. As technology advances many are looking to automate tasks in day to day life, your recreational vehicle should be no different. Many existing monitoring systems are generally either very dated, or not very smart. This board will facilitate an all in one monitoring and control hub.

SmartRV-AIO-THT: common questions

What microcontroller does the SmartRV-AIO-THT use?

The SmartRV-AIO-THT is built around the mini_esp32, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the SmartRV-AIO-THT PCB?

The SmartRV-AIO-THT measures 138.8 × 78.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the SmartRV-AIO-THT?

55 components, from 25 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the SmartRV-AIO-THT design files?

From the RoBro92/SmartRV-AIO repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the SmartRV-AIO-THT design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its AGPL-3.0 license, which RoBro92 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the SmartRV-AIO-THT without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
