Adafruit github repo for nrf52 has been used to make the firmware for Our on board MCU.

It is a PCB keyboard which has a 4 layer or 6 layer and was designed by both Kicad(Schematics) & Easyeda Pro(Routing). JLCPCB is used for PCB fabrication.

XD-keyboard: common questions

What microcontroller does the XD-keyboard use?

The XD-keyboard is built around the nRF52840, from the Nordic nRF family.

How big is the XD-keyboard PCB?

The XD-keyboard measures 269.7 × 107.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the XD-keyboard?

172 components, from 92 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the XD-keyboard design files?

From the samdoes-stuff/xD-keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the XD-keyboard design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with samdoes-stuff. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the XD-keyboard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Nordic nRF firmware against it before you order a PCB.
