PCB designs

A monorepository of my PCB designs created with [KiCAD][kicad] 8.

Custom symbols and footprints are located in [libraries][dir-libraries], which is shared between PCB projects using [${KIPRJMOD}][docs-kiprjmod].

Individual PCB projects (e.g. .kicadpro and friends) are located within within [pcb][dir-pcb] for active projects, or [pcb-archived`][dir-pcb-archived] for archived projects.

Esp cwww: common questions

What microcontroller does the Esp cwww use?

The Esp cwww is built around the ESP32-C3-Super-Mini-Castellated-SMD, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Esp cwww PCB?

The Esp cwww measures 66 × 32 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Esp cwww?

47 components, from 34 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Esp cwww design files?

From the smkent/pcb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Esp cwww design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CC-BY-SA-4.0 license, which smkent chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Esp cwww without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
