Spectra 6 and 4 gray E-paper frame

StickyPix is a small, rechargeable e-paper picture frame that lets you send images from a phone or desktop app over Bluetooth Low Energy. The same product family supports a four-gray black-and-white display and a six-color display.

StickyPix is developed as a complete hardware and software product:

1. Choose an image in the Flutter app. 2. Crop, rotate, and adjust the image for the selected device. 3. The app converts the image to the display's limited palette using dithering. 4. The processed framebuffer is sent to the device over BLE. 5. The device refreshes the e-paper panel and returns…

Panelize TestBoard Final: common questions

What microcontroller does the Panelize TestBoard Final use?

The Panelize TestBoard Final is built around the NRF54L15-QFAA-R, from the Nordic nRF family.

How big is the Panelize TestBoard Final PCB?

The Panelize TestBoard Final measures 98.3 × 54.6 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.0204 mm thick.

How many components are on the Panelize TestBoard Final?

90 components, from 55 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Panelize TestBoard Final design files?

From the StickyPix/Not-So-Sticky-Pix repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Panelize TestBoard Final design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with StickyPix. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Panelize TestBoard Final without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Nordic nRF firmware against it before you order a PCB.
