DIY audio-related projects of questionable quality and dubious utility; delivered in 30 minutes or less or the next one is free

When you download this as a ZIP open AudioThings.kicad_pro, this is a panopticon project that contains the main resources and exists to handle some references that are common. Apparently KiCad and I have some foundational disagreement on how to misuse their software; this is primarily because I'm ignorant, but also they have incorrect opinions.

Use Kicad to drill down into other projects.

MXKeys: common questions

How big is the MXKeys PCB?

The MXKeys measures 202.6 × 128.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the MXKeys?

164 components, from 84 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the MXKeys design files?

From the velvia-fifty/AudioThings repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the MXKeys design in my own project?

It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
