From left to right, the components on the top edge are:

- A 3.5mm TRS audio jack, connected straight to RP2040 GPIOs via an RC filter (no separate audio supply on this board rev) - A status LED for the RP2040 - A micro SD receptacle connected to the RP2040 - A micro USB socket providing power to the board, and code download and serial comms via the RP2040 - A status LED for the…

PicoStation3D: common questions

What microcontroller does the PicoStation3D use?

The PicoStation3D is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the PicoStation3D PCB?

The PicoStation3D measures 100 × 50 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PicoStation3D?

74 components, from 24 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PicoStation3D design files?

From the Wren6991/PicoStation3D repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PicoStation3D design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CC0-1.0 license, which Wren6991 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the PicoStation3D without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
