To change profiles, hold A + B + Up for 5 seconds. The red LED will blink to indicate the current profile (1 blink = Profile 1, 2 blinks = Profile 2).
To change directional modes, hold Down + A + B for 5 seconds. The red LED will blink to indicate the current mode (1 blink = D-Pad Only, 2 blinks = Axes Only, 3 blinks = Both).

Bt nes advantage: common questions
What microcontroller does the Bt nes advantage use?
The Bt nes advantage is built around the ESP32-C3_SUPERMINI_TH, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Bt nes advantage PCB?
The Bt nes advantage measures 78 × 36 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Bt nes advantage?
26 components, from 15 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Bt nes advantage design files?
From the aaronperkins/bt-nes-advantage repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Bt nes advantage design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which aaronperkins chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Bt nes advantage without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
