About the DL-FinalProject PCB

DL-FinalProject is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by adbik4, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 57 × 55.8 mm, with 33 components from 22 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATmega328PB-A, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3, CC56-12EWA, DS18B20, BMP280 and CH340N. By type, the board carries 11 capacitors, 9 resistors, 6 ICs, 3 diodes, 2 connectors and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the sensors, displays & leds and test & measurement designs in this gallery.

From the project

The design and implementation of a measurement and data logging system based on ATmega328pb microcontroller. The system is intended for measuring temperature and pressure using dedicated digital sensors: DS18B20 and BMP280. The captured data can be displayed on a 7-segment display and transmitted to a PC via USB-UART interface.

DL-FinalProject: common questions

What microcontroller does the DL-FinalProject use?

The DL-FinalProject is built around the ATmega328PB-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the DL-FinalProject PCB?

The DL-FinalProject measures 57 × 55.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the DL-FinalProject?

33 components, from 22 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the DL-FinalProject design files?

From the adbik4/DL-FinalProject repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the DL-FinalProject design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with adbik4. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the DL-FinalProject without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
