About the PowerDistributionBoard PCB

PowerDistributionBoard is an open source PCB design by Anteater-Electric-Racing, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 76.9 × 99.8 mm, with 58 components from 55 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 5to3.3_Linear_Regulator, TLV76150DCYR, ACS711xLCTR-12AB and AP63200WU. By type, the board carries 24 connectors, 12 fuses, 10 capacitors, 4 ICs, 4 resistors and 1 diode.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Current Sensor module is included for BSPD, as well as connecting some control signals across PCBs.

Current Sensor module is included for BSPD, as well as connecting some control signals across PCBs.

To follow PCB guidelines, each Molex Connector have labels for each pin, for better documentation and easier harnessing process.

Since this board has multiple Molex connectors, a footprint template is setup by modifying the footprint to must also include labels for each pin. This then groups the Molex footprint with the silkscreen, where moving the part both moves the footprint and the silkscreen labels.
