About the CPCIO PCB

CPCIO is an open source PCB design by Bread80, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.1 × 70.3 mm, with 36 components from 27 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 8255A, LM358 and 74LS32. By type, the board carries 14 resistors, 7 capacitors, 3 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 diodes and 2 transistors.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

Modular Amstrad CPC Compatible Computer (WiP)

***This project is an unfinished work in progress. It currently has bugs and not all the features have been tested!

The current modules are designed to fit a slightly modified RC2014 Pro backplane. In the text below I shall explain the current status of the project, workarounds needed to get it running and basic build details. Due to the work in progress status of the project this document will be intentionaly terse.
