About the CPC-DDI20 PCB

CPC-DDI20 is an open source PCB design by Bread80, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.1 × 65.9 mm, with 38 components from 24 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the UPD765AC, FDC9229, 74LS04, 74LS08 and 74LS38. By type, the board carries 12 resistors, 10 ICs, 9 capacitors, 3 connectors, 2 transistors and 1 switch.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

Modular Amstrad CPC Compatible Computer (WiP)

***This project is an unfinished work in progress. It currently has bugs and not all the features have been tested!

The current modules are designed to fit a slightly modified RC2014 Pro backplane. In the text below I shall explain the current status of the project, workarounds needed to get it running and basic build details. Due to the work in progress status of the project this document will be intentionaly terse.
