About the Node PCB

Node is an open source RISC-V PCB design by cUDGk, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 32 × 29 mm, with 20 components from 16 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the C2913197, from the RISC-V family. Other key parts include the C6186, C22459454 and C7519. By type, the board carries 7 capacitors, 5 ICs, 5 resistors, 2 connectors and 1 diode.

It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Node: common questions

What microcontroller does the Node use?

The Node is built around the C2913197, from the RISC-V family.

How big is the Node PCB?

The Node measures 32 × 29 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Node?

20 components, from 16 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Node design files?

From the cUDGk/vrc-fbt-hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Node design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the Node without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RISC-V firmware against it before you order a PCB.
