ADSBee traffic pusher to awoslog.com

ADSBee 1090 is an open-source multi band radio receiver and decoder for ADS-B packets transmitted by aircraft and ground stations. ADSBee 1090 is based on an RP2040 microcontroller, and utilizes two independent PIO blocks to find and decode ADS-B messages without the need for an FPGA. ADSBee 1090 includes a radio receiver frontend with filtering and amplification, as well as a software defined comparator circuit with an adjustable trigger threshold for customizable receive sensitivity in a diverse range of RF environments.

Proto ads bee mcu board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Proto ads bee mcu board use?

The Proto ads bee mcu board is built around the SC0915, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Proto ads bee mcu board?

The Proto ads bee mcu board measures 55 × 58 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Proto ads bee mcu board?

20 components, from 14 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Proto ads bee mcu board design files?

From the dgallant0x007/awoslog-adsbee repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Proto ads bee mcu board design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which dgallant0x007 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Proto ads bee mcu board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
