Its main chip is the PIC18F14K50, from the PIC family. Other key parts include the TPD2E2U06, MIC5353-3.3YMT, CC1101RGP, 0915BM15A0001E and B39921B3588U410. By type, the board carries 25 capacitors, 8 inductors, 7 ICs, 7 resistors, 3 connectors and 2 crystals.

From the project

EstacionTerrena: common questions

What microcontroller does the EstacionTerrena use?

The EstacionTerrena is built around the PIC18F14K50, from the PIC family.

How big is the EstacionTerrena PCB?

The EstacionTerrena measures 40 × 30 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the EstacionTerrena?

54 components, from 39 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the EstacionTerrena design files?

From the dragondgold/CanSat repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the EstacionTerrena design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which dragondgold chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the EstacionTerrena without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug PIC firmware against it before you order a PCB.
