About the Rioctrl spindle PCB

Rioctrl spindle is an open source PCB design by festlv, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 82 components from 22 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the CS48505S, USBLC6-4SC6 and LM358DT. By type, the board carries 48 resistors, 13 capacitors, 11 ICs, 5 diodes, 3 connectors and 2 inductors.

It belongs with the robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

From the project

Hardware design for modular CNC controller

This module provides: 2 analog outputs (0..10V) RS-485 interface for Modbus RS-422 interface (for full-duplex serial communication, pending software support) Differential encoder interface

Only analog outputs and Modbus has been tested!
