About the Rl fc f405.placed PCB

Rl fc f405.placed is an open source STM32 PCB design by GabuGravin41, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 36 × 36 mm, with 60 components from 35 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F405RGT6, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the TPS5430, AP2112K-3.3, ICM-20602, BMP280 and W25Q128JV. By type, the board carries 26 capacitors, 12 resistors, 7 ICs, 5 connectors, 5 diodes and 3 inductors.

It belongs with the robotics & motion and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

There is one custom PCB, the flight controller. The ESC and the receiver are bought as modules. They are represented here only by their connectors, so the cables between the three boards can be checked.

- Schematic: 61 parts and 79 nets. It matches the design plan 100 % (174 connections). KiCad's own netlister agrees on 79 of 79 nets. - Board: fully routed. KiCad DRC reports 0 errors and 0 unconnected pads, and all 239 pad nets match the plan. Some warnings remain; they are silkscreen only. - Design rules: set for JLCPCB 4-layer, 1.6 mm.
