About the J2o Board

J2o Board is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by JJaroll, published on GitHub under the LGPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 82.6 × 52.5 mm, with 16 components from 11 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATmega328-PU, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the LCC110. By type, the board carries 4 connectors, 4 resistors, 3 capacitors, 2 ICs, 2 diodes and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and retro computing designs in this gallery.

From the project

J2o Board: common questions

What microcontroller does the J2o Board use?

The J2o Board is built around the ATmega328-PU, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the J2o Board?

The J2o Board measures 82.6 × 52.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the J2o Board?

16 components, from 11 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the J2o Board design files?

From the JJaroll/MacBerry-Pi repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the J2o Board design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its LGPL-3.0 license, which JJaroll chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the J2o Board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
