About the Dc cv interface PCB

Dc cv interface is an open source PCB design by jounih, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a board, with 278 components from 82 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the DAC8568BIPW (JLC global sourcing), ADS131M08IPBSR, OPA4172IDR, PCM3168APAPR and OPA1679IPWR. By type, the board carries 42 capacitors, 22 resistors, 17 ICs, 4 connectors, 4 diodes and 3 inductors.

It belongs with the audio and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

DIY DC-coupled USB interface for Circuit Studio (parked design: ESP32-S3, PCM3168A, DAC8568/ADS131M08)

An ESP32-S3 display board (LilyGO T-Display-S3) on a factory-assembled carrier PCB. The computer sees a normal USB Audio Class 2 device plus a USB-MIDI port; BLE-MIDI works without a computer. Jouni only solders through-hole parts.

Plus: MIDI->CV mapper on the P outputs (USB-MIDI and BLE-MIDI), a status display (meters, USB/BLE/calibration/power), USB-C power as the main supply, optional Eurorack +-12 V and LiPo.

Dc cv interface: common questions

How many components are on the Dc cv interface?

278 components, from 82 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Dc cv interface design files?

From the jounih/dc-cv-interface repository on GitHub, which has a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Dc cv interface design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which jounih chose for the repository.
