The Mega3080 FCU is an evolved clone of the Altus Metrum Telemega. Using the same firmware (meaning the same sensor suite), the primary developments are: - USB-C - Wago style spring terminals - Better GPS RF routing, and external GPS antenna - Companion port with extra UART and space for potential direct Mosaic Integration - Mag switch with "hard to disarm" feature - Slightly smaller (30x80mm instead of 31.25x82.55mm) - Better reverse polarity protection, including on pyro charges - Cheaper than purchasing a TeleMega

OshTelemega: common questions

What microcontroller does the OshTelemega use?

The OshTelemega is built around the STM32L151VCTX, from the STM32 family.

How big is the OshTelemega PCB?

The OshTelemega measures 30 × 80 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6058 mm thick.

How many components are on the OshTelemega?

151 components, from 73 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the OshTelemega design files?

From the Kev1n8088/OshTelemega repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the OshTelemega design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Kev1n8088. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the OshTelemega without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
