From the project

3 channel bench supply with current and voltage plotting

Integrated hardware and firmware repository for the development-station bench supply, its control electronics, front-panel display path, and supporting boards.

This is the active working repo for the full bench-supply platform, not just a single firmware target. It currently includes:

- ESP32 control firmware - DSP regulator board design - DSP regulator HAT / measurement-control board design - original front-panel display board files - USB hub board files and next-iter reference cleanup - bring-up notes, pin maps, and display evaluation references

DSP Regulator hat: common questions

What microcontroller does the DSP Regulator hat use?

The DSP Regulator hat is built around the ESP32-C6-DevKitM-1, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the DSP Regulator hat?

The DSP Regulator hat measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the DSP Regulator hat?

130 components, from 35 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the DSP Regulator hat design files?

From the Phil-CIA/Development-Station-Power-Supply repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the DSP Regulator hat design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Phil-CIA. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the DSP Regulator hat without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
