From the project

This repository contains an Environmental Sensor Station and Data Logger powered by the ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 microcontroller.

An open-source, 4-layer IoT environmental monitoring station and telemetry data logger powered by the ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 microcontroller. This board utilizes multi-protocol wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi 6, BLE 5, and Zigbee/Thread) to read atmospheric and gas sensors, display local telemetry, and securely back up data to a local MicroSD card.

This board is structured with an optimized 4-layer stackup:

Esp32-c6-environmental logger: common questions

What microcontroller does the Esp32-c6-environmental logger use?

The Esp32-c6-environmental logger is built around the ESP32-C6-WROOM-1, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Esp32-c6-environmental logger PCB?

The Esp32-c6-environmental logger measures 75 × 56.4 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Esp32-c6-environmental logger?

59 components, from 34 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Esp32-c6-environmental logger design files?

From the pushtiujeniya/esp32-c6-environmental-logger repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Esp32-c6-environmental logger design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with pushtiujeniya. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Esp32-c6-environmental logger without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
